Welcome to Ace Pilot Academy. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Ace Pilot Academy website, app, and study content (the “Service”). By creating an account or purchasing any deck or package, you agree to these Terms.

1. What the Service is

Ace Pilot Academy provides aviation study materials — flashcards, scenarios, oral-exam practice, and related tools — built around FAA publications (the Airman Certification Standards, Pilot's Handbook of Aeronautical Knowledge, Airplane Flying Handbook, Instrument Flying Handbook, 14 CFR Parts 61 and 91, and related sources). It is a study aid.

2. Educational use only — important safety notice

The Service is for educational and study purposes only. It is not a substitute for instruction from a certificated flight instructor, the official FAA publications, the Airman Certification Standards, or the regulations themselves. We do not guarantee that using the Service will result in passing any knowledge test, oral exam, or checkride. Aircraft-specific values must always be verified against the actual AFM/POH. Always rely on current, official FAA sources and your instructor. You are responsible for the safe and legal conduct of any flight.

3. Accounts

You may need an account to save progress and access purchased content. You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction.

4. Purchases, pricing, and billing

Some decks and packages are free; others require a one-time purchase or a subscription. Prices are shown before checkout. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your full card details. One-time purchases grant access to the listed content for your account. Subscriptions (e.g., Annual All-Access) renew automatically until canceled; you can cancel anytime and access continues through the end of the paid period. Taxes may apply depending on your location.

5. Refunds

Because this is digital content delivered immediately, we offer a 7-day refund on a deck or package if you are not satisfied and have not substantially used it. To request a refund, email info@acepilotacademy.com within 7 days of purchase with your account email and order details. Subscription renewals are not refundable, but you can cancel future renewals at any time. We may make exceptions at our discretion.

6. License and acceptable use

We grant you a personal, non-transferable license to use the content you have access to, for your own study. You may not copy, redistribute, resell, scrape, or share your purchased content or account with others. Flight schools and instructors interested in multi-student access should contact us at info@acepilotacademy.com.

7. Intellectual property

The Ace Pilot Academy name, branding, original explanations, scenarios, and arrangement of content are owned by Ace Pilot Academy. FAA publications are U.S. government works; our added commentary and presentation are not.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ace Pilot Academy is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any outcome of a knowledge test, checkride, or flight. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms or the Service over time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
