This Privacy Policy explains what information Ace Pilot Academy (“we”) collects, how we use it, and your choices. We aim to collect only what we need to run the Service.

Information we collect

Account information. When you sign in, we collect your email address so we can create your account and give you access to what you've purchased.

Study activity. We store your study progress (which cards you've reviewed, ratings, streaks, and readiness data) so it syncs across your devices. On guest devices, this is stored locally in your browser.

Purchases. We keep a record of what decks or packages you've bought so we can unlock them for your account. We do not collect or store your full payment-card details.

How payments are handled

Payments are processed by Stripe. When you check out, your card information goes directly to Stripe, which is PCI-compliant. We receive only a confirmation that a payment succeeded and basic order details — never your card number.

Service providers we use

We rely on a few trusted providers to operate: Supabase (accounts and database), Stripe(payments), Vercel (hosting), and OpenAI (to generate the spoken examiner voice — the text of a question or answer is sent to OpenAI to produce audio). These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments.

How we use your information

To provide and improve the Service, deliver the content you purchase, sync your progress, process payments, provide support, and keep the Service secure. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not show ads.

Cookies and local storage

We use essential cookies and your browser's local storage to keep you signed in and to save study progress. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.

Data retention and deletion

We keep your account and study data while your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing info@acepilotacademy.com; we'll process it within a reasonable time, subject to records we're required to keep (for example, basic purchase records for tax/accounting).

Children

The Service is intended for student pilots and aviation professionals and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact info@acepilotacademy.com and we will remove it.

Your choices

You can access or update your account information by signing in, request a copy or deletion of your data, or cancel a subscription at any time. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA; contact us to exercise them.
